DRUG FREE WORKPLACE POLICY 

 

Bounce! Family Entertainment Center (the “Company”) intends to help provide a safe and drug-free work environment for our clients and our employees. With this goal in mind, we are establishing the following policy for existing and future employees of Bounce! Family Entertainment Center.

 

Bounce! Family Entertainment Center explicitly prohibits:

  • The use, possession, solicitation for, or sale of narcotics or other illegal drugs, alcohol, or prescription medication without a prescription on Company or customer premises or while performing an assignment.

  • Being impaired or under the influence of illegal or legal drugs or alcohol away from the company or customer premises, if such impairment or influence adversely affects the employee’s work performance, the safety of the employee or of others, or puts at risk the Company’s reputation.

  • Possession, use, solicitation for, or sale of illegal or legal drugs or alcohol away from the Company or customer premises, if such activity or involvement adversely affects the employee’s work performance, the safety of the employee or of others, or puts at risk the Company’s reputation.

  • The presence of any detectable amount of prohibited substances in the employee’s system while at work, while on the premises of the Company or its customers, or while on Company business. “Prohibited substances” include illegal drugs, alcohol, or prescription drugs not taken in accordance with a prescription given to the employee. 

  • Discussing the use of illegal drugs or alcohol with other coworkers or customers. DISCUSSION OF ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES IN FRONT OF MANAGEMENT, COWORKERS, OR CUSTOMERS RESULTS IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION. THIS IS A CHILDREN’S PLACE AND YOUR BEHAVIOR MUST REFLECT THAT.

 

Moreover,

  • NYS law prohibits the use of cigarettes and electronic cigarettes inside the workplace: this includes but is not limited to the warehouse, employee break rooms, and office areas.

  • You are responsible for immediately reporting any worker who seems to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or is smoking inside the workplace.

 

Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in immediate termination; as well as notifying the police. 

 

I am employed at the will of the employer.

I hereby certify that I have read the most updated copy of Bounce’s drug free workplace policy, as of ___________(today’s date). I understand that I am responsible for reporting any coworker’s who fail to comply with these rules as they are putting the safety of our customers and others in danger.
