Holiday Scheduling Policy
For school / national holidays, there is no permanent schedule in place. Employees have until 2 weeks before to let their scheduling manager know they are not able to work that day and you must provide a reason.
We will give staff members the opportunity to pick up shifts throughout this time. Approximately, 7 days before the holiday, scheduling managers will post the schedule (with shifts that were picked up by employees and plugged in spots).
If employees are plugged into shift, they have 6 days to find a cover for the shift or they will be terminated. We will not accept calls outs / requests for time off within these six days. It is your responsibility to get your assigned shift covered.

If a holiday falls on a weekend the permanent schedule stays the same. If you need off you must request off through Homebase scheduling app and actively try to find a cover. As long as you request off two weeks in advance, you will be excused from your shift.
Example on Upcoming Holidays:
-Memorial Day- Monday May 29th
-
(Last day to submit time off request is May 15th, Final Schedule will be sent May 21st)
- Juneteenth- Monday June 19th
